How to “Cook Your Songs” with “SongCooker”

It’s Fun, Free, and Easy To Use Our “Unmixed” Song Ingredients (Isolated Instrument Tracks) to Mix Your Own Unique “MusicRecipe”! See instructions below. Click here for SongCooker Glossary.

  1. Click on the big, black button with the arrow on the lower right to play a song. You will first hear the song play as it was released, in it’s original version. (In this case, it’s “Heartbreak Hotel” by Elvis Presley from 1956. Soon you will have other songs to select from our Song List.)

    Play Button

At the lower left, you will see the name of the singer or performer, the name of the song, the songwriters/composers, the year the song was recorded, and the record label.

  2. Bottom Left

  3. Click on the colorful buttons on the upper right to hear (or mute) the various isolated tracks of the song (i.e., just the guitar, bass, violin, drums, and, in some cases, voice). If the button is in color, you hear the track of that instrument. If you want to mute that track, click on the button, and it turns gray. You can click on it again whenever you want to hear that instrument track playing again.
